March 2016
Test method and reporting changes

Beginning March 7th 2016, Redwood Toxicology Laboratory will update the confirmation test method for methadone in oral fluid tests to utilize liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). The cutoff level will remain unchanged at 10 ng/mL.

No action is required for customers that have been testing for these drugs. Confirmation of presumptive positive specimens will now use the updated methodology without any interruption in service.

As your dedicated laboratory partner, our goal is to provide tools that help optimize outcomes through state-of-the-art drug detection and scientifically credible data interpretation. By continuing to update methodologies to reflect current industry standards and efficient practices, we allow clients to receive tests faster and with increased performance.
