Synthetic Cannabinoid Oral Fluid Drug Test modified to include four next generation drugs and lower cutoff sensitivity 03/26/12
Effective March 26, 2012, Redwood Toxicology Laboratory (RTL) will expand the Synthetic Cannabinoid Oral Fluid Drug Test to include 4 newer generation drugs: JWH-210, JWH-081, RCS-4 and AM-2201. Additionally, quantitative results will now be reported at a lower, more sensitive cutoff level 0.25ng/mL.
Customers will now receive analysis for 7 synthetic cannabinoids: JWH-018, JWH-073, JWH-250, JWH-210, JWH-081, RCS-4 and AM-2201. There will be no increase in cost and the testing technology will remain the same (LC/MS/MS). Tests can continue to be ordered as a standalone panel (F25) or through a combined panel that covers a variety of illicit drug and prescription drug combinations.
As the pioneering lab to establish testing for "synthetic marijuana," RTL understands that analysis of synthetic cannabinoids in biological matrices is a moving target. "Drug Chemists" are quick to change the active ingredients to circumvent federal regulations. However, through vigilant scientific analysis on hundreds of specimens, and observed changes to positivity rates, RTL verifies the extensive manufacture and use of un-regulated chemicals like: AM-2201, JWH-210, and other similar active ingredients
With RTL's expanded 7-compound drug test, the positivity rates will be higher and clients will gain greater confidence in designer drug detection while taking advantage of the convenience and increased popularity of oral fluid testing.
