Service Notification: 05/23/14
TLC/RIA testing methods to be discontinued.

Beginning May 23th 2014, Redwood Toxicology Laboratory (RTL) will phase out thin layer chromatography (TLC) and radioimmunoassay (RIA) test methods. This change is due to the retirement of our manufacturer's line of testing materials required for these procedures.

We will continue to test specimens using an enzyme immunoassay (EIA) method, providing you with the rapid, accurate results you've come to expect from RTL.

As always, we strongly urge that prior to any legal and/or definitive action being taken, presumptive positive specimens be confirmed by a specific analytical method such as gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) or liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS).

As your drug-testing partner, we are committed to providing superior service to our customers. If you have questions regarding this notification, please contact your sales representative at 800.255.2159 (press Option 1).
